The Starting with a Song Podcast was inspired by this blog post.
Before jumping into this episode, I wanted to shine a light on what’s happening in Nashville this week. We had an F3 tornado rip through our city in the wee hours of Tuesday, March 3 and the damage in its wake has left us all with a pretty surreal feeling.
Our friends at Community Resource Center are accepting donations to distribute at 218 Omohundro Pl.
They need:
- Trash Bags, Paper Towels, Work Gloves
- Cleaning supplies/bleach, box cutters
- Personal Hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc)
- Baby Diapers
You can also register to volunteer with Hands On Nashville or consider donating financial resources to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
It’s our hope that the laughs in this episode bring a little levity to a heavy situation.
Chris Lee and I met as young professionals, both very early on in our careers. You may wonder what a CPA has to do with music, but he’s here to change your mind. We dive into band instruments, competitive dancing, Beck, and a defining moment that turned into a Homecoming.
